How to Fix your Brake pads properly.

There’s no need to waste much time/money in a place, when you can actually do some cool stuffs by yourself. Most cars have brake pads that are easy to replace.

Basic Tools Needed for the Work
•A good spanners
•Adjustable wrench
•Screwdriver
•Hammer
•Socket and Extension

Before Starting the Main Work
•Ensure your car is well parked; to avoid unnecessary movements.
•Jack up the car to a level that’s comfortable for you.
•Remember never to work under a car without a jack stand.

Main Work:
•Remove the car wheel/ tire
•Unbolt the caliper, in order to remove the brake pads easily. The bolt is usually located at the back of the caliper.
•Remove the old brake pads.
•Adjust the brake piston, as your brake pads wears out the caliper adjust itself.
•Clean the surface of your brake disc to avoid it from making noise.
•Apply grease to caliper joints to avoid friction.
•Attach the new brake pads to the caliper.
•Replace the blots you removed and tighten them well.
•Add more hydraulic to your brake master.
•Press the brake pedal few times to make sure you have your brake pressure is solid.
•Now take you car for a nice test.
